Making the cyanotype of “To Watch Your World Fall Apart” I am loving working in the 16x20 size utilizing 12x15 negatives. I forgot to film the process of gold leafing this piece (there are others I recently guided that I did film).

This was a good opportunity for me to return to a medium I haven’t worked in since…2017. Before photography entered the picture (see what I did there) my background was in drawing and painting. Ultimately photography seduced me with its allure of working with conceptual themes in a highly technical process. But I enjoy returning to those roots from time to time.

Something I have been working on in the background for a while. This is my first iteration of a stop motion rig made from 3D printed parts and hardware store components (minus the Jeton joint spine from @morezmorestudio ) I have made a number of these puppets so far, but each has been a scratch build using various components. I want to make a significant number of these in order to bring many characters to life. My intent is to develop a standardized process in order to make batches of these. I’ve learned so many lessons from this process and am already halfway through version 2, which is drastically different. #puppetmaking #puppets #stopmotion #stopmotionpuppet
