Something I’ve been working on in the background for a while now. I’ve wanted to offer prints, and have in the past. But I hate ordering digital prints. A while ago I had the thought of making hand made cyanotype prints from my various images. I’ve posted a few on the website but wanted to start by sharing this image as it is a favorite of mine. It has been a year! Those close to me know I’ve been maxed out on my bandwidth. In addition to many undertakings in the studio I took on a new job earlier this year which drastically changed my time demands. I am currently on the back end of my residency at The Hive through @spokanepubliclibrary and frantically working to finish the projects I want to while I’m there. So many projects and things to come.

A little demonstration of what is typically referred to as an ambrotype versus a tintype. The processes are essentially the same with the variation of using a glass plate or metal plate.
